Contact the Forerunner administrator on your team to create an account. If you’re not sure who that is, email us at support@withforerunner.com and we’ll help you find the right person.
Go to app.withforerunner.com and select Forgot your password? below the password field. Enter your email address and we’ll send you instructions to reset your password.If you want to change your password while signed in, you can do so in the Settings section of your dashboard.
Forerunner is a cloud-based application, so there’s nothing to download. Open a supported browser, go to app.withforerunner.com, and sign in with your email and password. We recommend bookmarking this URL for quick access.
The Forerunner web app supports the following browsers:
  • Google Chrome (version 84+)
  • Firefox (version 63+)
  • Safari (version 14.1+)
  • Microsoft Edge (version 84+)
Internet Explorer 11 is no longer supported for security reasons.
The Forerunner field app is available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Supported operating systems:
  • iOS (version 16+)
  • Android (version 14+)
The mobile app is not supported on Microsoft Surface devices.
Yes. Email us at support@withforerunner.com and we can send you a custom upload link for bulk uploads.
Large files can slow down uploads and processing. FEMA recommends keeping attached images under 300KB. To reduce file size:
  • Resize images before attaching (recommended)—reduce image dimensions and save as JPEG. This preserves digital signatures.
  • Re-export as PDF—use “Print to PDF” (PC) or “Export with Reduce File Size” (Mac). Note: this may remove digital signatures.
  • Use online compression tools—services like Adobe Compress PDF can help, though results vary and encrypted PDFs may not be supported.
When you submit a data export request, the file is packaged and emailed to you. If you don’t receive it:
  1. Check the email inbox associated with your Forerunner account
  2. Look in your spam or junk folder
  3. Wait a few hours—depending on your email settings, delivery may be delayed
