What is AI in Forerunner?

AI in Forerunner refers to a set of intelligent capabilities that automate repetitive tasks, extract information from documents, and assist you in completing your work. These features are designed to save time while maintaining accuracy.

AI capabilities appear across the platform, integrated into the tools you already use:

Records

When creating or editing records, the AI Assistant can help you fill out fields faster. On mobile, use speech-to-text or upload photos to let AI extract relevant information. AI action fields can also populate automatically based on configured prompts.

Files

When you upload Elevation Certificates, AI can extract key data points and populate fields automatically. You can also configure AI-generated error summaries to include when sending ECs.

Records builder

When configuring record types, the AI Assistant can help you set up fields, validation rules, and form structure. AI also powers conditional logic, enabling smarter forms that adapt based on user input.

Mobile app

The AI Assistant on mobile includes speech-to-text for hands-free data entry and photo uploads to help fill out fields automatically. Complete records faster while you’re in the field without needing to type.

Upload photos and let AI extract relevant details to populate record fields. Elevation Certificate processing — Automatically extract data from uploaded ECs, reducing manual data entry and ensuring accuracy. Generate error summaries when certificates have issues. Form configuration — Get AI assistance when building complex record types, including help with conditional logic and field setup. Getting started with AI

AI features are available throughout Forerunner. Here’s how to start using them:
  1. Try the AI Assistant on a record — Open any record and look for the AI Assistant to help fill out fields
  2. Upload an Elevation Certificate — See how AI extracts data automatically from your uploaded documents
  3. Explore the mobile app — Use speech-to-text or photo uploads for faster field data collection
  4. Configure AI action fields — Work with your Customer Success Manager to set up fields that generate values automatically
AI features require an active Forerunner account. Some AI capabilities may require configuration by your Customer Success Manager. Contact your CSM to discuss enabling additional AI features for your workflows.
