The AI Assistant on mobile helps you fill out records faster in the field. Use chat, record audio and transcribe, or upload photos—the AI Assistant fills out form fields based on what you provide. Or use Live Mode for a real-time session where you talk and show your camera, and the AI Assistant updates the form as you speak.

Using the AI Assistant on mobile

Record audio and transcribe

Record your observations and the app transcribes them; the AI Assistant then fills out form fields based on what you said:
1

Open a record

Navigate to the property or object and open or create a record. See Managing records on mobile for details.
2

Tap the AI Assistant

Open the AI Assistant from within the record.
3

Tap the microphone icon

Select the microphone to begin speech input.
4

Speak your observations

Describe what you’re documenting. For example: “Two-story wood frame structure. Visible water line approximately three feet above ground level. HVAC system located in basement appears damaged. Estimated damage around forty percent of structure value.”
5

Review and confirm

The AI Assistant converts your speech to text, analyzes it, and suggests field values. Review the suggestions and confirm or adjust before applying.
Recording audio requires microphone permissions. The first time you use this feature, your device will prompt you to grant access.

Uploading photos on mobile

Capture photos in the field and use them to help fill out record fields:
1

Open the AI Assistant

While creating or editing a record, tap to open the AI Assistant.
2

Capture or select a photo

Take a new photo with your camera or select an existing photo from your device.
3

Add voice or text context

Optionally describe what the photo shows using speech or text input.
4

Review and apply suggestions

Review the AI Assistant’s suggested field values and apply the ones that are accurate.

Tips for field use

Speak clearly — Background noise can affect speech recognition. Move to a quieter area if possible, or use text input instead. Be specific — Include specific values, measurements, and observations in your descriptions. “Approximately three feet of water damage” is more useful than “some water damage.” Review before submitting — Always review the AI Assistant’s suggestions before accepting. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the final record. Combine methods — Use speech for quick observations, photos for visual documentation, and text for precise values. The AI Assistant works with all input types.

Live Mode

Live Mode is a real-time session with the AI Assistant: you talk and show your camera, and the AI Assistant responds by voice and updates form fields as you speak. There’s no typing or send step—ideal for inspections, code enforcement, and site visits when you want to document hands-free.

What you can do in Live Mode

  • Talk and listen — Have a natural back-and-forth; the AI Assistant responds with voice.
  • Show your camera — Point at a site, violation, or document; the AI Assistant describes what it sees and can suggest field values.
  • Update fields by voice — Say which fields to set or change; the form updates in real time so you stay in sync without typing.

How to use Live Mode

1

Open a record or form

Navigate to the property or object and open the record or form you’re working on. See Managing records on mobile for opening and creating records.
2

Start a Live session

Start a Live session from the record or form. You’ll be connected to the AI Assistant.
3

Use your voice and camera

Describe what you’re documenting, show the site or a document on camera, or ask the AI Assistant what it sees. Use your voice to tell the AI Assistant which fields to set or change—updates appear in the form as you talk.
4

Review and save

When you’re done, review the form and save the record as usual.

Use cases for Live Mode

Field inspections — Document findings by talking through what you see; show the camera so the AI Assistant can describe conditions and suggest field values. Code enforcement — Describe violations or site conditions while the AI Assistant updates the record; use the camera to point out specific issues. Site visits — Fill out forms hands-free while walking a property; ask the AI Assistant to set fields and describe what it sees from your camera.

Enable Live Mode on your account

Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable Live Mode on your account. You’ll need to be on app version 7.15 or later.
