Search
Search is the fastest way to find a specific object when you know its address, parcel ID, or identifier. To search: Click the search bar in the header (or use Cmd+K / Ctrl+K), type your query, and select from the results. The map centers on the location and opens the object’s information panel. What you can search for:- Address - Street number and name; city and state aren’t required
- Parcel ID - Full or partial parcel identifier
- Owner name - Property owner (if enabled for your account)
- Custom object label - Name or ID of custom objects
Map
The map provides visual, geographic access to objects. Use it when location context matters or when you’re exploring an area. Click to select - Click any object on the map to open its information panel. Properties appear as point markers or parcel boundaries; custom objects display with their configured styling. Navigate - Scroll to zoom, click and drag to pan, or use the +/- buttons. Enter an address in the map search bar to jump to a specific location. Control visibility - Open the layers panel to toggle object types on and off. When zoomed out, nearby objects cluster together—zoom in to see individual objects.Tables
Tables let you browse, filter, and sort objects in list format. Use tables when you need to find objects by specific criteria or work through a list systematically. Access tables - Navigate to Properties in the main menu, or select a custom object group (like “Stormwater Systems”) to see its table. Find objects - Filter by attributes (flood zone, status, condition), sort by clicking column headers, or use table search for quick text matching. Navigate to details - Click any row for a quick preview, or click View on map to see the object in geographic context. Save your setup - Create saved views for common filter and sort combinations (“AE Zone Properties”, “Overdue Inspections”) to quickly access them later.Public property search
If your account has a public website enabled, residents can search for properties through your public portal. What residents see - After searching by address, residents can view flood zone information, public records, and public documents like Elevation Certificates. Directing residents - Provide your public website URL and let residents know they can search by street address. See Public object access for details on controlling what information appears.Choosing the right method
