In our recent webinar, Dr. Keri Stephens, Professor of Organizational Communication Technology and Co-Director of the Technology and Information Policy Institute at The University of Texas at Austin, shared lessons from over 20 years of experience working with local officials and community leaders on flood risk communication strategies.
Dr. Stephens spoke about how effective outreach helps communities enhance preparedness and build resilience. She shared insights from her research working with several Texas communities - providing recommendations for creating targeted messages, as well as critical frameworks and actionable tools community leaders can use to make communications more impactful.
