Warnings on Community Assets

Public works teams managing infrastructure, like storm drains, manholes, hydrants, signs, sidewalks, and pipelines, can now flag conditions and alerts directly on those assets.

Warnings, one of the most widely used features in Forerunner, are now available on these community objects, bringing the same visibility and control teams rely on for properties into their infrastructure workflows.

Teams can configure warnings in their Account Settings and apply the warnings to specific object types across their account. For example, a “Maintenance Overdue” warning can be scoped to manholes, while an “Inspection Required” warning applies only to hydrants. Once configured, anyone on the team can toggle warnings on or off directly from an object’s overview tab - just as they would on a property.

Warnings surface everywhere your team already works: on the map dashboard, in object tables (with a new Warnings filter and column), and within each object’s overview page alongside Google Street View imagery. The result is a centralized, real-time view of which assets need attention - helping inspectors and managers stay aligned without leaving Forerunner or relying on separate tracking systems.
