  ## Edit custom objects on the map

  You can now edit custom objects you created manually—right from the map, on web and mobile.

  ### Features

  * Update an object's label
  * Reshape an object's geometry by dragging or removing points
  * Edit from the object information panel; the map zooms to fit the object in edit mode

  Editing applies to custom objects created manually. Objects brought in through a GIS import are still updated by re-importing the source data. See [Editing a custom object](/objects/creating-objects#editing-a-custom-object).
